I have had my Surface Pro 3 for almost 2 years now. It works well both as a desktop computer in my office, when paired with an external monitor and keyboard; and as a very portable and fully functional laptop for use while traveling. My SP3 has the i5 processor and 256G of memory, and I have found both to be fully sufficient. The only slight compromise is that I have been unable to achieve more than 30HZ at 3840x2160 resolution for my external monitor.

I have had many issues with this device from the start. The keyboard rarely works. I try disconnecting and reconnecting or restarting the tablet but nothing helps. Also the charger disconnects really easily. The pen has worked fine for me. I am super disappointed and wish I would have went with a different option. When I am online, the websites often get minimized or deleted without me touching the screen. That can be super frustrating when trying to do homework! My older sister got this tablet as well and has similar issues. I would not waste your money on the Surface Pro 3.

Very sleek looking and easy to carry around however, I have had numerous problems turning on the device. Depressing the power button but nothing happens.Very frustrating.
